Postponement Announcement of The 12th International Symposium on Strain-Gauge Balances

With the recent spread of the COVID-19 virus, the committee set a deadline for making a decision to continue or postpone the upcoming symposium. The deadline has arrived and although we were hoping to find a positive change with respect to the virus, quite the opposite has occurred with the World Health Organisation declaring it “High Risk” on a global scale.

We consider all of the delegates to be very valuable members of the international wind tunnel testing community and do not feel comfortable putting any of them at any level of risk. We wanted to allow sufficient time for delegates to cancel bookings and any other arrangements that they may have already made.

The 12th International Symposium on Strain-Gauge Balances will be postponed. At this time we hope to reschedule, likely in 2021. We will provide updated information as soon as it is available.

The following will post any new information regarding the symposium.

Announcement date: 28 Feb 2020.
